Ruth Alison Clemens is a lecturer in Literary Studies at Utrecht University and at Leiden University Centre for the Arts in Society. Ruth has written journal articles for Feminist Modernist Studies, Modernist Cultures, and Comparative Critical Studies, and she is the author of book chapters on media ecologies and viral temporalities. With Juliette Taylor Batty, she is co-editor of a cluster on Eliot and Europe in Vol. 4 of the T. S. Eliot Studies Annual. In 2020 she completed her PhD in Comparative Literature at the University of Leeds, before which she was a committee member of the British Association for Modernist Studies and a visiting research fellow at Utrecht Institute for Cultural Inquiry.

 

Maria Lucie Lopez is a literary translator with an M. A in Translations Studies. She is writing her PhD dissertation “Meta-epistemic reflection in the works of W. B. Yeats, T. S. Eliot and Yves Bonnefoy”under the supervision of Pr. Joanny Moulin (IHP, Institut de l’Histoire de la Philosophie). Her article « Y. Bonnefoy et W. B. Yeats : esquisses biographiques » has been published by the Biography Society (June 2020).
